On the east side of the Square are four large planter boxes specially designed to delight the senses. Visitors can listen, touch, look, and smell to explore the variety and beauty that nature gives us every day.

Sound: These plants will make different sounds when stirred by the wind or shaken by a hand.

Sight: Leaves come in many more colors than green! The plants and flowers here will have colorful foliage and bright, long-blooming flowers.

Smell: All the plants in this box will have different scents. One plant even carries its scent in its leaves! These plants have been carefully chosen to bloom at different times so their strong fragrances don't compete with one another.

Touch: Here you'll find plants with different textures. Some will be thick and fleshy; others fuzzy, coarse and prickly, or soft and feathery.
