Thanks to the Bacchanalian Society and all who attended the wine tasting and contest on Fountain Square in September 2008. Over 900 people attended the event, which raised over $8,000 for Fountain Square Management Group, a nonprofit organization that depends on sponsorship and private donations to produce hundreds of events on the Square each year, from the music series, movies, and the market to wacky one-off events like the Fish Toss, Broomball League, Cinciditarod, and the coney eating contest.

The Bacchanalian Society is one of Cincinnati's most successful YP organizations. Founded in 2002 as a tasting club, the Bacchanalian Society now regularly draws 800+ people to its events all over the city, four times a year.
